There are 28 university Rural Health Clubs from all states and territories, with over 9000 members. Members are passionate advocates for raising awareness of the health needs, and improving the health outcomes, for rural and remote communities.
Today we have Edwina Fry, President of NOMAD, Deakin University’s rural health club,
Alastair Weng, President of OUTLOOK, University of Melbourne’s rural health club and
Ashleigh Laird Co-President of Wildfire, Monash University’s rural health club.
Together we’ll be talking about what it’s like to be part of a rural health club and what inspired Edwina, Alastair, and Ashleigh to take the rural health pathway.
